Walsham were invited to bat on another hot Saturday and Barry Lynn and Ned Campbell made a watchful start but Campbell was caught well at mid- off and Lynn at mid- wicket, both falling for single figure scores. Liam Bryant made 23 before being beaten by Patel. Shortly after this Baker had to retire hurt and apart from Ali Waugh none of the remaining Walsham batters could reach double figures leaving them all out for a very disappointing 68. Sam Colver was the pick of the Kesgrave bowlers with figures of 14-4-14-5.

Rothon removed Ben Colver cheaply but that was the extent of Walshams success in the field as Mike Worne and M. Oliver knocked off the runs without scare.
